Meet Maya
Maya is the face and voice of IFRS Tutor. She takes one accounting standard at a time and walks you through it the way a good colleague would: what the rule is, why it exists, the numbers, and what it means for the accounts you actually read.
How the lessons are made
Every script is researched from the standard itself, the IFRS Foundation's own material and the big professional firms' guidance, and the worked numbers are checked before anything is recorded. Each page lists its sources so you can go straight to the official text.
In the interest of being straight with you: Maya is an AI-generated presenter. The research, the scripts and the checking are done by people. We think that's the honest way to do it, and it means we can cover more standards, more carefully.
Who it's for
Students working through ACCA, CPA, CA or a degree, and anyone in finance who needs a standard to make sense quickly. If something is unclear, tell us in the YouTube comments and we'll fix it.
